Internationalization Commission

Commissione Internazionalizzazione (Italian version)

The internationalization commission coordinates and implements the internationalization processes of professors, researchers and students belonging to the Department.

The internationalization commission coordinates and implements the internationalization processes of professors, researchers and students belonging to the Department. Many of the Department's master's degree courses are international in nature and each year attract numerous students from all over the world for periods of study or to carry out the entire course at the Department's facilities.

The Commission encourages international teaching through numerous formal agreements with European (more than 50 Erasmus agreements) and non-European universities, activating bilateral exchange paths for teachers and students. The internationalization commission also selects the numerous applications from foreign doctoral students and young researchers who request to be accepted as visiting researchers to collaborate in research carried out in the laboratories of the Department.

At the beginning of each academic year, the internationalization commission invites prestigious visiting professors to deliver lectures, seminars and workshops. These initiatives encourage international teaching, but also offer important opportunities for discussion and collaboration in the field of research, aimed at consolidating and/or setting up working groups of an international nature.
