Information on how to proceed with the option to switch from the old Programme to the new Degree Programme qualifying to the profession
Starting from the academic year 2023/2024 the Degree Programme enables the qualification for the profession of Psychologist. Graduates will directly obtain the qualifying entitlement to practice the profession of Psychologist at the end of the Programme.
Activation will be effective gradually, so in Academic Year 2023/2024, only the first year will be activated.
Opting for the new Degree Course, students of the old system will be enrolled in the first year in the Academic Year 2023/2024.
An important change concerns the acquisition of the 30 CFU of Practicum Training (TPV), at least 20 of which will be achieved during the LM-51 degree course in Psychology, in accordance with Articles 1 and 3 of Law 163/2021 "Provisions on Qualifying University Degrees" and Interministerial Decree No. 654 of July 5, 2022 "Habilitation to practice psychology Degree Classes L-24 and LM-51."
In the total or partial absence of the recognition of professionalizing educational activities equal to 10 CFU earned in the bachelor's degree, it is possible to acquire the missing Practicum Training (TPV) CFU in addition to the 120 CFU of the master's degree.
The final examination includes the conduct of a Practicum Evaluation Test (PPV), which aims to ascertain the professional skills acquired through the Practicum Training (TPV) within the course of study and for which a passing grade must be obtained. For the purpose of passing the Practicum Evaluation Test (PPV), the student must acquire a suitability judgment following which he or she accesses the discussion of the dissertation. Those who acquire a suitability judgment from the Practicum Evaluation Test (PPV) are admitted to the final examination.
The Practicum Evaluation Test (PPV) precedes the discussion of the dissertation.
