In Memory of Nikita Lobanov

With great sadness, we were informed that our MIREES alumnus and former Tutor of the MIREES Program, Nikita Lobanov, passed away last week.

Our beloved Nikita was a brilliant student; from 2020 to 2021, he served as MIREES Tutor with great esteem by students, professors, and staff. He was facing a brilliant academic career as an expert in Humor Studies from the Political Science perspective. We will lack his talent, empathy, and humor.

The MIREES community conveys condolences and love to Nikita's family and friends.
