The Europaeum and Charles University are organising a special hybrid event to honour the life and work of Karel Schwarzenberg, the Czech democracy campaigner and foreign minister who served as a Europaeum Trustee for many years.
The sub-theme of the meeting will be the Future of Democracy in Europe today.
Among those speaking in person or online will be Barbara Tóth, Michael Žantovský, Timothy Garton Ash, Petra Guasti, Jakub Franěk and Jacques Rupnik. A live audience on-site at Charles University in Prague will be joined by a wider group of participants online.
