The meetings are dedicated to the theme of resistance to Putin's regime and his ally Lukashenka: each is dedicated to one of the three Slavic republics of Eastern Europe, i.e Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
The meetings will be held in 2024 in three different cities and universities (the Forlì campus of the University of Bologna; University of Eastern Piedmont; University of Cagliari). On the occasion of the first meeting we will talk about opposition projects and initiatives in post-Soviet Russia with our guest speakers, Linor Goralik (Editor-in-Chief, ROAR - Resistance and Opposition Arts Review) and Dar’ja Serenko (Feminist Anti-War Resistance).
The event will be moderated by Giulia De Florio (University of Parma) and Marco Puleri (University of Bologna).
The seminars are part of the Workshop on Eastern Europe and Eurasia. They are in presence for all 1st yr Mirees students. Only other participants (2hd yr and others) can attend at distance TEAMS LINK
