RAw Materials Exploration and Sustainability (RAMES) is a Master's Degree programme which aims to educate business-savvy geologists and engineers to have a deep understanding of the primary and secondary raw materials within a broader circular economy framework.
In particular, students will have a thorough knowledge of primary and secondary raw materials from both a geological and engineering perspective, will learn their physico-chimical properties, exploration, sustainable use and will discuss with experts the business and entrepreneurial opportunities which can arise.
These competences are coherent with the recent EU initiatives on the circular economy (such as the Circular Economy Action Plan of the European Commission), and offer significant professional opportunities on the EU job market. Given the strong focus on the circular economy, this Master's degree also offers job opportunities both in the RM industry and research organizations active at the global level.
