The war in Ukraine is a watershed event in recent European history.
The stakes have never been so high since the Cold war’s confrontation between the superpowers.
Several aspects of the crisis that let to the war and of the ongoing conflict need to be explored and understood in a multidisciplinary perspective.
For this reason, the University of Bologna, in collaboration with the Master on East European and Eurasian Studies (MIREES) has organized a roundtable aimed at exploring the dynamics that have led to Russia’s decision to attack Ukraine, the developments of the attack, the actors at play, the reaction of the international community and the repercussions for Europe and for the world.
