The programme provides sound foundations in the historical disciplines and allows you to choose between multidisciplinary and multicultural pathways. The wide range of subjects offered provides a comprehensive education, adapting to different interests in the field of history. It is possible to specialise in specific periods or topics and to access national and international workshops and internships for comprehensive professional training.
There are seven compulsory subjects: Greek, Roman, Medieval, Modern and Contemporary History, Italian literature and Geography. Electives are then available, opting between chronological interdisciplinary (Ancient, Medieval, Modern, Contemporary) or thematic-disciplinary specialisations. Courses on various historical sources and opportunities for workshops and internships are also available.
The programme offers the possibility of a double degree with the University of Dijon. In addition to this opportunity, the programme has around 150 agreements for 3- to 12-month Erasmus exchanges. Internships can also be done abroad.
