Internships

What is an internship

The internship activity is an experience intended to complete your academic education with practical work at companies, public offices or structures within the University of Bologna.

Types of internships at your Degree Programme

The Degree programme includes:

- Internship for the preparation of the final examination (elective). It allows students to complete a scientific project at a research laboratory or at a company/institution and to gain 15 University educational credits (CFU).

Since 1 CFU = minimum 25 hours/maximum 30 hours, the internship of 15 CFU requires minimum 375/maximum 450 hours of activity.

When you can apply

You can apply for the internship starting from the second year of enrolment and after receiving the opinion from the Internship board; you can present your application after selecting the activity in your study plan (please read the information on how to modify the study plan).
