DOX:ACADEMY is a platform for students from universities, art academies and film schools all over Europe.
DOX:ACADEMY allows students to join the festival as they please – individually or in larger groups, on-site in Copenhagen during the festival March 15-26, 2023. We offer a student accreditation at a reduced price that gives access to all regular film screenings, masterclasses, conferences as well as events where students can meet each other and film professionals.
Price for ACADEMY ACCREDITATION: 800 DKK + 25 % VAT (1.000 DKK).
As an extra option, students can also apply for one of our week-long classes. The ACADEMY CLASSES are a series of highly intensive courses taking place from March 20 – 24 with two sessions a day supplemented by group discussions and a tailored programme of films and festival activities. Applying to follow a DOX:ACADEMY class is free once you have an accreditation.
All of our ACADEMY CLASSES are cross-disciplinary and explore the intersection between different practices by bringing together students, teachers and artists/experts from different professional backgrounds. We offer three different courses both on-site and online:
- ART: HYBRID CLASS: art, documentary, visual anthropology and academic research
- SOCIETY: F:ACT CLASS: investigative journalism, documentary and political activism
- SCIENCE: NATURE CLASS: climate, anthropocentrism and human nature
