Rules and procedures to register for and to attend simulation-based curricular clinical clerkships
Registration for simulation-based clinical clerkships can be accessed only by students who:
Simulation-based clinical clerkships are clerkship activities which take place in a simulation environment, as opposed to hospital-based clinical clerkships (which take place in teaching hospitals).
The Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme curriculum has four mandatory simulation-based clinical clerkships:

Provide basic life support (BLS) for the management of a number of emergency conditions, such as cardiac arrest, choking, and drowning.

Provide basic support for first-line nursing care.

Perform basic wound assessment and care. Perform simple surgical manouvres.

Our simulation room can be accessed from Polo Murri - Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Hospital (Via Massarenti 9, 40139 Bologna - see map): once you are inside the building, follow the signs for 'Aula Manichini' (first floor).
Online registration is not required. Allocation to groups will be communicated on the first day of learing/laboratory activities.
The activity will be recorded by professors upon completion. No further action is required by students.
Provide Advanced Life Support through life-saving protocols and skills that extend BLS skills to further support the circulation and provide an open airway and adequate ventilation.
