Intended Learning Outcomes - ILOs

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) are learning goals that describe what you are expected to learn during your course of study. They include the knowledge, practical skills, and competencies that you should be able to achieve by the end of the course.
These goals must be: measurable, meaning they can be assessed, achievable, so they are realistic for students, and assessable, which means they can be evaluated through tests or activities.

There are different levels of ILOs:

  • Programme-level ILOsThese describe what students should learn across the entire degree programme.
  • Course-level ILOs: These refer to the specific learning outcomes of each individual course.

Overall, ILOs are designed to place your learning at the center of the educational process and to guide you towards achieving clear and meaningful goals.

In this course, by the end of your studies, you will have acquired:

Global vision Integrate knowledge, theoretical models, and techniques to strategically analyse competitive context, as well as to measure the effects of business decisions and to forecast their impact on the business value, both at a national and international level.
Methodological Rigor Master the most appropriate economic-statistical and analytical tools for the collection, and analysis of data and interpret their results in order to monitor and assess individuals and organizational units’ performance.
Ethics and sustainability Apply sustainable business management models and integrate the appropriate methodologies for measuring the environmental and societal impact of businesses from economic, legal, technological, psychological, and social perspectives.
Communication Develop personal and interpersonal skills and abilities to achieve results both individually and as part of a multi-cultural team.
IT Integrate innovation and digital transformation techniques in the ordinary business management.
Entrepreneurial Mindset Identify and quantify the key risks and opportunities associated with evaluating entrepreneurial ventures to support decision-making in the launch of a new business, project, or product.
