Short intensive courses taught by guests and visitings from all over the world

The Senior Seminar in Global Humanities is designed as an interdisciplinary forum for discussing the so-called "spatial turn," which is influencing various fields of the Humanities, including history, anthropology, geography, philosophy, and political theory.

The course will run throughout the entire academic year, from September 15, 2025, to May 22, 2026, following the schedule that students can find below.

Students are expected to attend at least four (4) short intensive courses. The Senior Seminar is graded on a pass/no pass basis, and in order to earn 6 credits (CFU), students are required to submit a 3000-word paper on one of the short intensive courses attended, starting from the end of May 2026.

Students must email their paper on one of the courses attended during the academic year 2025/2026 to disci.gloc@unibo.it between May 31, 2026, and March 31, 2027. Please submit your paper in one of the following formats: .docx, .odt, or .rtf. No registration on AlmaEsami is required.
